Today it has been exactly one year since we held Raegan for the first time. I remember so clearly how excited we were that morning as we rode the bus to the Changsha Civil Affairs Office to receive our new family member. We already loved this child that God had chose for us, but that love was just a glimmer of what we feel today. Raegan has brought such incredible happiness and joy to our entire family this last year.
These pictures were taken in the first few minutes after we received Raegan. Of course we were over the moon with happiness but as you can see Raegan didn't share the feeling. But today I can say this wonderful, beautiful child has totally adjusted to her new life and family. We feel truly honored to be Raegan's parents and thank God for all three of our children.
What a beautiful family! Did you keep the clothes? Eliza was dressed in the same outfit. I think that I did keep them and I definately kept the rope that was holding her diaper in place. God is good! :)
