Today we visited the Hunan Embroidery Museum of China. Hunan province is one of the four provinces in China that does embroidery. Hunan province is famous for two sided embroidery. That is basically embroidery where they have a picture on one side and a different picture on the other side. After looking at all the incredible embroidery we were able to tour the workshop and see the women actually embroidering. |
